What Are Your Marketing Plans?

Have you started mapping out your year for marketing yet? I’m working on mine and trying to decide if I want to do things seasonally, quarterly, or bi-monthly. I’m leaning toward bi-monthly and creating my own special times instead of following traditional holidays. It seems like a good idea to do something a little different each time, maybe fluctuating between services, online media, and retail. Over the weekend I’m hoping to perfect the plans as they need to be rolled out next week to cover what’s left of January and the whole of February if I’m going to work bi-monthly. What are some things you have done in the past or are planning to do this year or in the future? I will share what my brainstorming is leaning toward on Monday, I’ve got a polish drive, online media special, and some retail-related gift card plans in mind. Have a great weekend!

I have started working with a group of small business owners and we have monthly pampering events. I have also contacted some local organizations and I contracted for an event each month this year. Since I'm a one woman show it works for me!

I give Gift Certificates to Charity fund raisers that have silent auctions and T.V. auctions. It's a win-win for the Charity and the Salon!
