A Los Angeles fundraiser for President Obama yesterday saw about 6,000 supporters come out as well as Hollywood stars and singer Katy Perry performing while wearing Minx nails with Obama’s image.
Katy tweeted a close up photo of her nails on Sunday night with the caption, “Appropriate Nails.” She tweeted of the night, “I sang for President @BarackObama last night because I believe in Equal Rights.”
The Minx nail art was applied by Los Angeles-based celebrity nail stylist Kimmie Kyees.
The patriotic manicure featured the president’s face and the Democratic donkey mascot on red, white, and blue-colored fingernails.
To support voting awareness in the upcoming election, Minx will be making the “Presidential Collection” nail fashion worn by Katy Perry available on MinxNails.com through the Tasting Room.
The “Presidential Collection” Minx includes both Democrat and Republican designs and can be easily applied at home. Visit the Tasting Room at www.MinxTastingRoom.com.
The Tasting Room is an online venue where consumers or nail professionals alike can purchase exclusive Minx designs that are not available anywhere else. These unique, limited-edition collections will appear and disappear without warning and will coincide with special events throughout the year such as the election.
