I recently went to the Medi Spa & Resort Expo & Conference in Los Angeles to source a few items for the salon. I was invited by a company called Pure Bamboo, who we met at the Day Spa Expo in Las Vegas. I was impressed with their line and wanted to look into it further. I’ve placed an order for bamboo robes and samples of spa wear in hopes of finding the perfect uniform.

 

I’ve been sourcing bamboo and organic cotton clothing and towels for over a year and, until this company, haven’t been happy with the selection. I'm really hoping my new samples will live up to my expectations. We also have been researching both an organic skin care line and a traditional line, so I stopped by some skin care booths at the show. I also found some cute retail items, spa booties, mittens, heated neck wraps, plus stuffed animals that can be heated or cooled for kids that are just adorable. I thought this show was better then the one in Las Vegas; it was organized and the companies were nicely represented. I’m happy I went and can’t wait to get my samples.
