Q & A: Employees

I read that you’re hiring all your nail techs on as employees. Aren’t you afraid that, since they're not working for a commission, they won't work as hard because they’re paid an hourly rate?
Anna

Hi Anna,

It’s true that ROB|B employees will be guaranteed an hourly rate, but we’re also offering both service and retail-based commissions. The service commission will be tiered, based on a few different levels of productivity. I think that will be effective encouragement for our techs to be productive. Plus, we’re offering a separate retail commission, which will be a designated percentage of any products their clients buy at the salon.

Regards,
Robbie
co-owner
