Q & A: Equipment Supplier

Who are you using for your equipment supplier?

Antonio

Hi Antonio,

We’re using Salon Equipment International. The company is a distributor of salon equipment and furniture, in addition to manufacturing its own furniture.

I’ve been meeting with John Pohlen at Salon Equipment International regularly. He, Jessica Nakata (our interior designer), and I recently finalized the manicure table and nail bar surfaces. It’ll be an elevated glass top, with stainless steel underneath. (There will be a gap between the two layers, so we’ll still be able to clean underneath.) It’s beautiful.

Regards,

Robbie

co-owner

Hi Robbie -
We recently bought an existing, very typical, cheap nail salon in nyc (believe it or not, we charge $7 for a manicure!!). I was a former client and always fantasized about what I would do with it if I ever owned my own. Well, here I am, and renovating slowly over the past six months so as not to close and lose the client base.
I love your salon esthetics - can you recommend a nail drying station, or specifics to look for, that you think will speed up the drying process and still look more elegant than standard nail dryers.
Many thanks.,

Renee
