Well, it’s been February since I started Lighter Life Light and I have shed 17 lbs. so far. I have just put on a pair of Rock & Republic jeans and am very happy. Now I have 10 lbs. to go. I quit drinking wine, but still enjoy vodka tonic with fresh lime...not every night obviously, but certainly on a Friday/Saturday.
The answer to the question, “But are you exercising Samantha?” is a big fat NO. I know I have to start — you try exercising in a country that is still 11-degrees in May! I have completely cut out carbs (apart from what may be in my cocktail). And I don’t eat a lot of fruit either (I really only like berries and bananas anyway). I do eat a lot of greens and tend to do stir-fry with shrimp and chicken. I feel so much better without the carbs (although on occasion I have had Chinese noodles). I thought not having bread/pasta/potatoes would really bother me but it hasn’t!
Work is keeping me busy — never a dull moment at S2 home of CND here in the UK. I turned 40 in March and feel better than I have in a while. I still can’t fit into my goal jeans, however I can get them fully up now; sadly there is 2 inches between button and button hole so I guess that 10 lbs really counts. But I am MUCH happier and that is the main thing!
Oh, I forgot to say I took my 16-year- old skiing — that was my exercise in March!
