New Year's News from the UK

Well I got a Wii Fit for Christmas from my wonderful U.S. mom-in-law and have been ski-jumping, hoola-hooping and running (I surprise even myself at times as I hate running). I’ve been liking it a little better in the comfort of my own home!!

My news is I have decided to do something drastic! No positive thinking in the world can help when you look at yourself and just don’t like what you see anymore! I have felt like that for over a year now and have tried to be positive but I can’t see a light at the end of the tunnel so it has made matters worse. Now there is a light…or should I say “Lite?” I have joined Liter Life Lite (for those who need to lose 2 stone or less (in my case 22 lbs). By April 26th I will weigh 10 st 6 lbs or for those in the US... 146 lbs! Now that I can handle. There is weekly support and for on-going weight when you have reached your desired goal!

I don’t need luck, I just need absolute dedication to what I am doing and that will actually mean no carbs, sugar or alcohol at all…not even on my 40th (March 6th)...actually I probably will need luck for that!!

Signing out from the snowiest UK in 20 years!

I think I want a Wii. I have been seeing people doing the hula hoop movements. So, out of no where, I will be standing near my husband and do them (I have never seen a Wii in person just on tv). It is pretty humorous when you just do it out of the blue! So, I have a Wii in my head!!! At least I am moving and laughing!!! Have fun! You look great every time I see you!

Samantha, that is great! It sounds like you decided to take charge and move forward. It is really hard to admit you are not doing it right on your own and ask for help. I love our Wii Fit too, the running is horrible lol but I can beat my family at hula hoop, I average over 300 on super hula! You do not look like you should be 40 yet!! Enjoy the next leg of your journey and I hope some help is just the right thing to get you going ;o)
