Pack Your Snacks

So far I have lost 12 lbs. It has not been easy keeping on track. I find myself doing great and all of a sudden I have a two or three day binge. What brings me back on track is thinking of all the hard work, how good I feel and knowing that it takes a while to break lifetime habits.

I planned ahead for my last working trip and packed some healthy snacks: organic chocolate baked brownies, nuts, whey-based shakes. And I chose the healthiest food from the breakfast buffet so I did not binge. I am proud of myself!

Being successful is not always an easy task, but it is very rewarding — hang in there!

Wanda- you totally deserve to be proud of yourself, that is so awesome! It is a constant battle and the choice is always ours to make and sometimes I think that is the hardest part, making the right choice. Packing your snacks along is a super idea, it helps keep you in control for sure. What whey based shakes are you drinking? Do they taste ok? I am hunting for a low carb protein shake to consume 2x a day per my trainer's instruction. So happy for you, keep on keepin on!!!
