(House) Working It Off

I have been busy since I last checked in. In the last month and a half I have painted our salon in 30 hours over two weekends, all while traveling and working full time at the salon. I have decided that I need to focus on cleaning my life starting with my house and salon. So I painted the salon and I started cleaning my house like I have not done since we moved here seven years ago. I also worked off tons of calories doing this. I not only feel better about where I live and work, I also feel better for being busy. House work is not a traditional way of working out but it does do a lot for you if you are going up and down stairs like I did. Also, painting is a lot of up and down the ladder and holding and using the roller. Last but not least, I have decorated our house on the outside with lights — more up and down a tall ladder! I am beginning to see a pattern. I have started sitting on an exercise ball while I play on the PlayStation so that is good for my core. I am finally making some good changes in my little part of the world. Happy Holidays,

Val,

I have painted every house I have built and it is some of the hardest (non exercise ) you can do. I remember waking up one night with pain because my arms hurt so bad.

Good for you cleaning. I have got to get to my office befor the new year..so you have motivated me!

Happy Holidays. Hope you are well.

Jen

Val, all of that definitely counts as exercise! I have to say I am so impressed that you are using the balance ball to work your core while gaming, keep it up and you will achieve your goal!
