Scheduling Your Workouts

Everything is going great and I am on track! I do not have any new news for you guys.

Here is my work out schedule:

Monday: yoga and swim

Tuesday: run 3 miles and swim

Wednesday: 2 hours at dance class and a 2 mile run

Thursday: I rest because I work all day

Friday: 3 mile run and weight train

Saturday: I cross train by either doing a spin class or Zumba

Sunday: I do my long runs (this week it’s 4 miles)

It is often hard to find the time. But I sit down on Sunday and look at the week ahead and make time for what I have to do to stay on track — even if it means getting up at 4:30 am. I must say that I am sleeping like a baby. My body is sore, but I feel great mentally.

On another note: I did a manicure on a 22-year-old girl who had an aneurism and only has a 20% chance of survival on Friday. Her mother asked if I could, so of course I did. When I left there I was in tears and was very thankful for my health and the health of my friends and family. I thought about this blog, all the girls, etc. We are blessed to have good health. I hope everyone finds the strength to see their goals come to fruition. We owe it to ourselves to have the best healthy life we can while we are here.

Also, I have met so many people who ask to be a part of this blog — a young girl at the gym who is struggling with weight loss. Thanks Hannah for doing this. It has been such a positive thing in my life and many others.

Hope everyone is great and look forward to reading your success stories.

Wow Jen! Can you be any more amazing! It seems that you are doing our exercise for us! How do you do it? What incredible energy you have! Keep it up. You are an inspiration. I hope the young girl gets better soon. I will pray for her.

Jen you are doing so great moving toward your goal! I am still waiting for that picture in the orange swim cap though ;o)

Glad you accepted the oppurtunity to do that manicure, things like that mean a lot to the family and I'm sure it was a humbing reality check for such a sweet person like you. BIG HUG from across cyberspace!

I take flyers about the blog everywhere I go, it is amazing how many people say they check in but are just to shy to leave messages. This blog is a great thing, lifechanging and meaningful.

Keep up all the great work, looking forward to seeing you cross your finish line!
