I think you all know how much I love the Hungry Girl website for recipes, interesting food facts, and Weight Watchers ideas. Well a few weeks ago, she posted an All-New Starbucks Survival Guide. In it, she includes a useful Dos and Don’ts guide (DO order nonfat milk, DON’T order the special seasonal drinks), a list of “safe drinks (Pike Place coffee, Skinny Latte) and a list of safe foods (Perfect Oatmeal, Spinach, Roasted Tomato, Feta and Egg Wrap). She also reviews some questionable new items (Vivanno Nourishing Blends, Baked Berry Stella), and like all Hungry Girl items, she lists all the nutritional info and Weight Watchers point values.
So if you’re one of those people who hits up Starbucks on a regular basis, check it out. Do you have any special ordering habits? Don’t be afraid to order your morning beverage exactly how you want it. I’m not a big coffee drinker, but I love the Skinny Vanilla Latte. And did you know they have a Short size that isn't even on the menu? Well, they do.
