Well, one week has passed since I had my meltdown! Wow! First I would like to thank everyone for their support! It has helped me so much, I even received an e-mail from Chris Serlo (spelling?) and a follow-up phone call from our very own Holly S.! Thank you so much!
So what changes have I implemented? I have started taking my lunch every day. So I’m not only saving money, but I’m also eating better food! I’ve also started cooking at home more, which if anyone really knows me, that alone is an achievement! I’m enjoying it and my husband loves to come in and help! Of course I’m watching what foods and condiments I cook with, and how much I’m putting on my plate. Right now I’m going with the idea of more color on my plate, lots of veggies, not so many starches! I’m also trying to incorporate not eating dinner after 8 p.m. Eventually it’ll be 7 p.m., but with our (my husband and I) work hours, 8 p.m. works better. I am a big believer in families having at least one meal together.
As for exercise, I’ve been thinking of a couple of things. First, this coming weekend I’m purchasing a pedometer to wear daily, I believe it’ll help me understand how little exercise I’m really getting. Then I’m also checking into these 6-10 week boot camps. I’ll let you know more later!
