Thank You, Fellow Bloggers

Well, one week has passed since I had my meltdown! Wow! First I would like to thank everyone for their support! It has helped me so much, I even received an e-mail from Chris Serlo (spelling?) and a follow-up phone call from our very own Holly S.! Thank you so much! 

 

So what changes have I implemented? I have started taking my lunch every day. So I’m not only saving money, but I’m also eating better food! I’ve also started cooking at home more, which if anyone really knows me, that alone is an achievement! I’m enjoying it and my husband loves to come in and help! Of course I’m watching what foods and condiments I cook with, and how much I’m putting on my plate. Right now I’m going with the idea of more color on my plate, lots of veggies, not so many starches! I’m also trying to incorporate not eating dinner after 8 p.m. Eventually it’ll be 7 p.m., but with our (my husband and I) work hours, 8 p.m. works better. I am a big believer in families having at least one meal together.

 

As for exercise, I’ve been thinking of a couple of things. First, this coming weekend I’m purchasing a pedometer to wear daily, I believe it’ll help me understand how little exercise I’m really getting. Then I’m also checking into these 6-10 week boot camps. I’ll let you know more later!

 

Well that’s all for this week. Oh, the most important news — I’m down 1.5 lbs! Whoohooo! Thanks again to this awesome website and all the people who support it!

YAAA!! Good for you Kim! Can't wait to hear the progress...keeping the family involved helps tremendously.The program that Iam doing is called Total Body Shaping, but there is a national program called Ultimate body shaping. There is a link to the website on the side bar of this page.

Kimberly you are off to a great new begining! The pedometer is a fantastic idea, look into them a little online before you purchase one so you get the best option for what you need. Taking your lunch is excellent, now take snacks too so you never hit that point in the day that you are starving and prone to binge, special k protien water is a good one so are fiber one bars! You can do this, one day at a time is all it takes and we are all pulling for you XOXO
