In Need of a Blogging Buddy

Calling all bloggers and exercise friends! Please help me! I have fallen deeply off the great healthy weight loss challenge! I did well in the beginning, then slowly started to start up my old habits! I have also stopped walking. I just can’t get myself out of this funk! I’m being 100% honest; my life has seemed to begin a very ugly spiral downwards and I’m not happy with it! I’ve been going through a lot personally, and also financially. We all know when that happens — we just stop taking care of ourselves. I need support. I haven’t done well checking in on the blog, but my second step is being better at using this wonderful website and tool Hannah has started for us! My first step you ask? Admitting the problem of course! Lol! All joking aside, I’m looking for a blogging buddy to keep me accountable. I’m also going to start up with Weight Watchers tomorrow! I’m tired of being overweight, out of shape, and just plain miserable! Like the candidates, I’m ready for CHANGE! So I’m reaching out, please help!

P.S. Kudos to Holly for doing such an amazing job! You go girl, you’re my inspiration!

It's good to see you're working hard on weight issue. I'm struggling with a weight issue also, but it's on the other side of the spectrum. I am desperately tryin to gain weight. Some people really don't know how hard that is to do.

Kimberly, whatever you need just ask. I can do phone calls, text messages, emails, anything that would help just let me know.

It is hard to admit you quit and pick yourself back up again, start with pride in that accomplishment and build from there. YOU CAN do this, XOXO

Coya, it is very hard to put on weight, my husband struggles with that, and you are right for those of us in the opposite position it is hard to understand. Becoming healthy is a different journey for everyone, welcome to the blog!

Hi Kimberly!

It is tough with all the things that we deal with on a daily basis! Keep in mind you are a strong woman with a goal and look at the challenges in your life and allow them to inspire that strength. I find that when I allow myself to feel sorry for myself and get into a funk that it only makes me feel worse. If I force myself to get out and do what I promised myself I feel so much better. You might not be able to control all the personal and financial issues you're dealing with but you are and can be completely in control of your commitment to yourself. Stay strong and positive!

Hi Kimberly,
I know just how you feel. Been there! When I first started, I was very motivated... then all the stress and problems of life seem more important than taking care of my health. I fell back into my old habits, which is human nature.

Then I realised that good health is just a temporary condition. We have to always work to have good health or we lose it. Then stress wins and we suffer.

My suggestion is to do something for your health every day, no matter how small it is, do something, build on that by doing something else healthy. Pretty soon making healthy choices will be your natural "habit" and then it will become much easier.

One thing- never give up! You aren't beat until you quit. I'll be rooting for you my friend.

Kim,

Look yourself in the mirror and have a talk with yourself.Seriously.Right in the eye!
You are important and beautiful and CAN make the right choices. All you have to do is decide and make a commitment to yourself.

We all fall off the wagon and easily slip into comfortable habits, but they actually make us feel worse. I promise once you feel better about your image you will feel better about life in general.
Good Luck with WW ! We are all here for you!

Hi Kim,

You can add me to the list of someone you can call or e-mail. I know what a struggle it can be to stay on track and it can help knowing you have a support group to call on. You can do this!

Hi Kim,

I saw a beautiful, talented and confident young woman at CND Requalification. Her name was Kim J...imagine that! You can do it, one day at a time. Plus, you have a whole team behind you when you need a push.
