Friday at last! This week my choice of celebration was easy; I knew when I stepped on the scale exactly what it would be! I have reached a milestone in my road to being healthy, and since I started my lifestyle change on May 12 I have now lost 50 pounds! Such small things in life are so much easier — like breathing and walking, lol. And I just generally feel better. My family is excited because I have the energy to do more things with them and I am excited to wear jeans this fall! (Last year by the end of winter it was all sweats because I had decided I was not buying any larger sizes and I could not wear what I had.) So 50 pounds down, 3 jean sizes down, and up to the ability to walk two miles in one stretch, I think this change is good.
How is everyone else doing? What have you changed and what would you like to celebrate? Weekends can be hard. Let’s all make an effort to do a great job over the weekend so we can be proud on Monday!
