Meet Tiffany

In July we go to training for CND and I am part of the training team. There is a lot of talk about a healthy menu, low fat snacks, exercise at 6 a.m., and I’m thinking, “What does this have to do with nails?” So I shop for clothes, because I don’t seem to fit in ANYTHING I own AGAIN, cry when I’m trying them on, and throw them in a bag.

When I get there the food is wonderful...but there’s NO BREAD! Then we go to lunch and there is a call for people to get healthy and write about it and the voice in my head said to me, “Hey dummy, you’re fat (AGAIN), lethargic, uncomfortable and sad. Get up there!” So I did. By the end of the week, I was feeling good but it was time to go home and really commit to MYSELF. I’ve done this before — struggled with weight. I’ve battled an extra 100 lbs up and down several times in my lifetime and know for sure it is related to how I feel about myself emotionally. I WANT TO FEEL GOOD.

Two weeks after the training, I’ve still been staying away from bread products and sticking to lean meats, fruits, and veggies. (I do have frozen yogurt every other day for a yummy. I need yummy.) As of writing this (Aug. 3, 2008) I have lost 6 lbs and already feel better. I also went to the gym twice (for 15 minutes, then steam, sauna, Jacuzzi). I HATE WORKING OUT. We shall see how healthy we can get together, so GOOD LUCK EVERYONE.

p.s. Lots of water is key.

Tiffany give yourself a hug, you can do it, you are doing it, and you can continue and keep it going! Emotional eating or even just eating because we love to, is really hard to overcome and sometimes takes more than one try, so think of the other times as practice so you can really rock it this time ;o)

Hmm water is key-that looks suspiciously like wine! My beverage of choice.
